Short description
With its versatile premises, the community center offers ideal conditions and framework for a large variety of occasions, within a manageable and pleasant environment. These premises are also gladly rented for family celebrations. The fact that hosts can self-manage their gatherings makes these premises especially interesting. Other events are feasible such as sports, gymnastics, game circles (board games), meetings, company presentations, cultural events and much more.
Inventory & space
The inventory includes tables, chairs, cutlery, china, commercial dishwasher, electric oven, commercial coffee brewing station for up to 120 cups, coffee maker, kettle, electric knife, thermos bottles, large refrigerator, etc.
The hall (main room) of the community center is equipped with a sound system and provides space for about 290 people in a row seating. If table rows are desired, the number of persons is limited to approximately 220.
In the foyer is space for approximately 50-60 people with table seating.
Reservations
The cost is set by a scale of fees and depends on which room is rented. Sufficient parking and use of the kindergarden playground are included in the offer. Rental is offered through the local community on the basis of the terms and use policy.

Short description
A Nordic Walking Trail is accessible when crossing L 46 at the village access “Roman Wall” – please look for the signs “Nordic Walking Trail”.
Several trails (no signs) in the beautiful Herforst and Speicher forests are available and safe for walking, hiking and cycling.

Roman Wall in Herforst

Short description
A must see is the replication of a section of the Roman wall in Herforst, located on the road L46, direction Trier.
The wall was built by the Herforst Heimat- und Kulturverein (Traditions and Culture Club, Herforst) from original materials, which were found in the village surrounding area. Meanwhile, this replica is part of a series of more than 100 attractions in the framework of project „Roman Road”.
The project is based on an Initiative of the Rhineland-Palatinate tourism agencies and combines the Romand sights of the tourism areas Moselle-Saar-River-Region, Eifel, Hunsrück, Saarland and Luxembourg.

Short description
The sports field and the new sports hall are owned and maintained by the sports club DJK Herforst. The sports club offers Fußball (soccer) and Tischtennis (ping pong) with large youth groups in both sports. In general, a membership with the club is mandatory to use the sports areas.
